School Meals, Milk and Snacks
All Infant children are entitled to a school meal free of charge, which means that your child can have a school meal every day whilst they attend St Andrews.
All meals are cooked/made on site in our own school kitchen.
A varied menu is available for all St Andrew's children, offering a selection of hot and cold meals, based on a three week cycle. Children can also help theirselves from the salad bar and bread basket and there is always a selection of fresh fruit and yoghurts available, as well as cold milk and chilled water. Vegetarian options are available and the cook will cater for any other special requirement your child may have - please speak to her in the school kitchen.
The cook displays a menu outside the kitchen door so parents can easily see what's on the menu each day.
If you have any queries regarding your child's meal please call in and speak to Mrs Moran, our cook, in the kitchen.
For more information on LCC School meals please visit the following site:

Children may have milk or water at morning breaktime. Milk is provided by 'Coolmilk'. All children under 5 or whose parents receive certain benefits are entitled to receive free milk.
If you wish your child to have a carton of milk each day please register with 'Coolmilk' www.coolmilk.co.uk. Children not requiring milk may have water from the water fountain or from their own bottles of water. No other drinks are allowed in school, except as part of a packed lunch.
As an infant school we provide one piece of fresh fruit per day to the children. The fruit scheme includes a range of fruits as well as tomatoes and carrots and cucumber sticks.
Children are encouraged to drink water throughout the day. Water is available from a number of water fountains around school but children may also bring in a bottle of water from home, clearly labelled with their name.
