Jubilee Celebrations

This week we have been celebrating the Queen's Jubilee. 

We read 'The Queen's Hat' and had a 'draw along' with the author Steve Antony. We acted out the story outside and in the small world area. 

We have been creating the famous London landmarks in the construction area. 

The children created our own class thrown!

We have done lots of fabulous writing about The Queen and other Queens(some not so nice ones). 

We have drawn beautiful portraits of Queen Elizabeth. 

The children have been sorting and naming coins and creating coin rubbings. 

We made a timeline of the Queen's life. 

And finally, we had a wonderful whole school jubilee celebration!
